The clusterfuck known as "UIR" is over! That is the university of selfish, spoiled, idiotic students and administration is over. And it ended just as it should have; with students protesting their final exam because they weren't reminded about it. Give me a break! They complained until I finally gave in and reviewed the exam with them and did some examples.
Students were literally in the hallways refusing to go into their classrooms until administration confirmed that we were to give their exams today. What a shitshow….Safffiiii
On another note, things have been great here otherwise. Today was exhaustingly hot and humid, ukkk!
The past 3 weeks have been really enjoyable, social-wise. I've gone out often, whether for a concert, a drink, a coffee, dinner, just enjoying myself. Now that I have been living in the area I work in, with many of the other teachers, I get to do more things and walk everywhere. No doubt, I'm still tired but it's a really blessing having my own place. Just incredible.
